The final “Monday Night Football” game of the 2022 season is a doozy.
The AFC’s No. 1 seed is still up for grabs, and the Bills and Bengals are still in contention for the ever-important first-round bye (and home-court advantage). Monday night’s game between the two teams could be a deciding game for that spot.
The Bills can clinch that No. 1 seed with a little help — and a lot of hope. If the Broncos find a way to knock off the Chiefs on Sunday afternoon, the Bills will play for it Monday night.
While the No. 1 seed is still a question for the Bengals, so is the division. Joe Burrow’s boys currently sit atop the AFC North, but if the Ravens lose on Sunday afternoon, the Bengals can clinch the division with a win over the Bills.
Otherwise, a Week 18 game between Cincinnati and Baltimore will be for all the proverbial marbles.
