NFL games on TV today
Tampa Bay at Atlanta, 1 p.m. on FOX / live stream on fuboTV
With the Buccaneers already locked in the NFC’s No. 4 seed, it’s unclear how much their starters will play in this one. One record to watch is that Tom Brady needs nine more kills to break his own single-season record of 485 he set last year.
New England at Buffalo, 1 p.m. on CBS/live stream on fuboTV
It’s going to be quite an emotional game after Damar Hamlin’s shocking collapse on the pitch on Monday. The good news is that he has miraculously recovered and the team seems emotionally ready to play six days later. The Patriots can clinch a wildcard spot with a win, while Buffalo can secure the No. 2 seed and a neutral-site AFC Championship game (if they face the Chiefs) with a win.
Minnesota at Chicago, 1 p.m. on FOX/live stream on fuboTV
The Bears will be without Justin Fields in this game, so it should be relatively easy for the Vikings heading into the playoffs. Still, their last two losses have come against NFC North rivals, so you can never be too sure with this division champion who has a minus-19 point differential despite going 12-4.
Baltimore at Cincinnati, 1 p.m. on CBS/live stream on fuboTV
The Bengals have already won the AFC North due to last week’s no contest, but there are real stakes in this game. If the Chargers beat the Broncos later in the day, the Ravens can actually set up a Wild Card Round game against the Bengals with a win and a draw. Cincinnati, meanwhile, can secure a neutral-site AFC Championship game with a win and a loss for the Bills, should they face them.
Houston at Indianapolis, 1 p.m. on CBS/live stream on fuboTV
The Texans are in line to pick No. 1 and land a franchise quarterback, but a win over the Colts, who have lost six straight, could jeopardize that. This game could get ugly, as evidenced by their Week 1 draw.
New York Jets to Miami, 1 p.m. on FOX / live stream on fuboTV
Joe Flacco vs. Skylar Thompson could determine which team becomes the AFC’s final wild card. It’s been that kind of season in terms of performance for the Jets and health for the Dolphins. The Jets pulled off a big 40-17 upset in Week 5 when Thompson made his debut.
Carolina at New Orleans, 1 p.m. on FOX/live stream on fuboTV
Although both teams were eliminated last week with Tampa Bay winning to clinch the NFC South, each has a great reason to show up today. Interim head coach Steve Wilks is coaching a full-time job at Carolina, while New Orleans, without its first-round pick, can avoid its first double-digit losing season since 2005. the year before Sean Payton arrived.
Cleveland at Pittsburgh, 1 p.m. on CBS/live stream on fuboTV
The Steelers will need help qualifying for the playoffs, even with a win, but it would still be a great way to cap off another stellar season under head coach Mike Tomlin. The Steelers still don’t have a 16-season losing record, one of the NFL’s most notable streaks.
Los Angeles Chargers at Denver, 4:25 p.m. on CBS/live stream on fuboTV
The Chargers will either have the No. 5 or 6 seed in the AFC, which isn’t that different, so they can play a lot of saves in this game. Meanwhile, Denver is trying to avoid losing a franchise-record 13th game.
New York Giants at Philadelphia, 4:25 p.m. on CBS/live stream on fuboTV
The Giants are locked into the No. 6 seed in the NFC, so there’s not much to play for them in this one. On the other hand, the Eagles still haven’t clinched the NFC East and have the chance to earn a first-round bye with a win. With that in mind, this game has the biggest line of the week (16 points Saturday night).
Arizona at San Francisco, 4:25 p.m. on FOX/live stream on fuboTV
The 49ers have an outside shot on the No. 1 seed, and the Cardinals are up to David Blough at quarterback. Naturally, San Francisco is a two-touchdown favorite.
Los Angeles Rams at Seattle, 4:25 p.m. on FOX/live stream on fuboTV
The Seahawks make the playoffs with a win and loss to the Packers on “Sunday Night Football” in a game that will also be special due to Bobby Wagner’s return to Seattle. He expressed his displeasure with how the team cut him and had a huge game (two sacks, three TFLs, interception) in their game at SoFi Stadium.
Dallas at Washington, 4:25 p.m. on FOX/live stream on fuboTV
Because the Commanders were eliminated last week, they will look to fifth-round rookie Sam Howell to start at quarterback. Maybe he can be part of the answer as massive changes occur in Washington this offseason.
Detroit at Green Bay, 8:20 p.m. (SNF) on NBC/live stream on fuboTV
The Packers control their own destiny and would punch their postseason ticket with a win. Unfortunately, it might not be a game-win and you’re in, as the Lions will hinge on a loss or tie from the Seahawks earlier in the day. Do better next time, NFL schedulers!
