It’s huge to open up the opportunity for other fighters to show off their skills on the big stage,” Davis said at the pre-fight press conference. “When you make your mark in sports, it’s about coming back and showing others that it can happen to them. It’s just me trying to get over that hump. I don’t see it as a dream come true. reality. I’m not where I want to be yet. This fight is the next step.”
